True story: one of the questions on my SAT asked me to identify the author of an opening line from a novel, a classic of English literature. I'd never read it, but I recognized it right off since it was used in a Monty Python sketch about Thomas Hardy writing his new novel.
Python: they teach us what our professors failed to.
Now this explains why I didn't do as well on my SAT...the failure to watch Monty Python in my teens!
